  • ALUMNI

    Montfort has an active alumni network – all graduating students are part of the alumni. The alumni association also organises activities related to professional development of Counsellors.

  • STUDENT SERVICES AND SUPPORT SYSTEM

    MIAS recognises that the personal growth-aspects of students are as important as academic and skill development. To this effect we provide services for self-care, guidance and mentoring.

  • PERSONAL THERAPY

    Participation as a client in individual or group therapy can be both a growth experience for the student and a significant educational aspect of a programme to prepare mental health professionals. Experience as a client in personal therapy is, mandatory.

  • FIELD VISITS / COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMMES

    All students are required to visit Mental Health Institutions, NGO’s, etc., and involve themselves in community outreach programmes for the underprivileged andlearn through rendering service to the society / neighbourhood development and emerge as effective leaders.

  • ENDEARING CAMPUS LIFE

    Montfort is well-known for the creative and inspiring activities of the students in the campus. There are sports, cultural, social and spiritual activities that keep the campus life endearing and inspiring.

  • GUEST LECTURES& WORKSHOPS

    Guest lectures & workshops on various topics are arranged during the semester periodically.

  • STUDENT COUNCIL

    Students are encouraged to be involved in self-governance. Student council is elected to represent the studentbody of the entire student community of the college and helps to share students’ ideas, interests, and concerns with student community and improve the quality of campus life by organising exhibitions, cultural events, in-house publications, and other spectacular multi-cultural programmes in the field of Counselling and Psychology.

  • PLACEMENT CELL

    The placement cell provides information and guidance to help students find hands-on experience and employment opportunities. The cell organises campus recruitment to provide students with career opportunities.

  • The college expects the students to be fully focussed in academics and make maximum use of the facilities available for holistic development.
  • MIAS is dedicated not only to training and advancement of knowledge but also to developing ethical, and responsible human beings.
  • Ragging of any kind and any magnitude inside / outside the college campus will lead to dismissal.
  • MIAS campus is an alcohol tobacco free zone

NOTE TO PARENTS

  • Parents and guardians are partners with the college in the education and training of their wards.

The college does not accept donations in any form for admissions an do not have any agents / middleman.
